Our main house has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a full kitchen with all the essentials, a family room with a TV to enjoy apps like Netflix and Amazon video with your login, and a living room with a reading nook. There is plenty of space for two small families or a group of adults. The house also offers a back patio with a porch swing, chairs, and a bbq.

COTTAGES (UNITS A - C) SLEEPS UP TO 4 PERSONS
With an eat-in kitchen, a full-size bed (with a comfy foam mattress) in the bedroom, and a pull-out couch in the living room; these three units are perfect for a romantic getaway, business, and student travelers, or young families.

APARTMENTS (UNITS D - F) SLEEPS UP TO 4 PERSONS
Need two beds? These three units have them, one full-size bed in each of the two rooms. The kitchen is an alcove attached to the corner of the main room, and there's also a dining table and four chairs in that room.

#5 - TWO BEDROOMS - SLEEPS UP TO 6 PERSONS
With a full-size bed in one bedroom, two singles in the other, and a pull-out couch in the living room, this unit can sleep up to six people who enjoy each others company. This apartment also has a larger eat-in kitchen and a unique shower room that's perfect for your beach vacation. Be sure to ask us about it.

TO RESERVE A RENTAL
Give us a call at 831-471-7110. A deposit is required to reserve a rental. The total of all reservations will include an 11% transient occupancy tax and a $1.90 per day fee. You will see this as a line item when booking your visit. Our cancellation policy is 20 days prior to arrival gets you a full refund. After that, you forfeit your deposit.
Since we only have 7 rentals to offer, please try to be sure of your plans before you book.

Please remember to properly display your parking permit on your car's mirror, and return it to the manager with your towels, parking permit and keys by 11 am on check-out day.
Please curtail noise after 10:00 PM and be respectful of your neighbors at all hours.
Please remove as much sand as possible before entering your apartment.
Please wash all cookware, dinnerware, and utensils before you leave.
Place bagged garbage in the brown bins behind the brown wood fence near the rose garden.
Recycling is mandatory in Santa Cruz. Paper, cans, bottles, and other recyclables should be placed in separate recycling containers. In order to facilitate this, separate containers for garbage and for recyclables are located in the kitchen.

A locked shed is located in the upper yard for storage of bicycles – please do not bring bikes inside the apartments, or leave them on your car. A key for this lock can be obtained from the manager.
Check-In: 4 -7 PM • Check Out: 11:00 AM
Your rental must be vacated by 11:00 AM on check out date, with keys and parking permits, returned to the office, or an additional day’s fee will be charged.
Please be sure to complete the check out instructions: Make sure your dishes are washed, and trash is gathered and taken out to ensure that an extra cleaning fee is not charged to your credit card.

Surfside Information & Policies Parking
Parking - permits are available for registered guests. The permit allows you park on Cliff Street and the immediately adjacent streets, but you must be sure to place your parking permit plainly in view attached to your rear view mirror facing forward. Please do so promptly after your arrival. During the summer the parking attendants patrol the area continually and cars without visible parking permits are cited. Parking fines are around $58.00. The loading zone is available for loading and unloading, but violations of the time limit are also subject to fine over which we have no control.
One permit is available for each unit, except for the main house. The main house will receive two parking passes. If the registered guests of a unit arrive in more than one car, we have day permits available in the office for $2 each. Because there is limited parking in this area, those permits may only be purchased for the cars of a registered guest ONLY and are not available for other vehicles. A qualified registered guest may purchase one permit per day.
Dogs, cats, and other animals are not permitted on the premises, no exceptions.
Smoking is also not permitted in the rental unit or on the property.
The Surfside property, and your rental unit, are for registered guests only.
Checkout Time – The day you are checking out, the apartment is to be vacated by 11:00 AM so that it can be cleaned for the next guest. Late check-out may result in an additional nights fee being charged to your credit card.
Dishes should be washed and left clean.
Collect all trash and recycling from around your rental.
Take out trash and recycling and deposit in the bins behind the fence.
Please leave all used towels on the bathroom floor
The parking permit must be returned to the office by 11 am along with keys to the apartment. An additional night’s rental fee will be assessed for parking permits not returned and will be charged to your credit card.
An additional cleaning/damage fee may be charged to your credit card if you smoke on the property, have not cleaned as per Surfside posted policies, if your unit is left unusually dirty, with trash and recycling left in the unit, or if there is damage to the room or furnishings.
Garbage – Recycling is mandatory in Santa Cruz. Two refuse containers are provided in your kitchen to facilitate separation of garbage from recyclables. Separate bins for garbage and recyclables are located in the fenced area at the top of the garden. Before you check out your bagged garbage and recyclables should be deposited in the brown and blue cans provided.
Bicycles - Bicycles are not permitted in the apartments, but may be kept in the bicycle shed provided in the same area as the garbage cans.
Towels - Clean towels may be obtained from the office in exchange for used ones.
Linens - Clean linens are provided once a week for guests here for extended stays.
Respect for Others – We try to provide a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for our guests. Accordingly, we request that noise levels be muted after 10:00 PM.
Gardens – We maintain a garden for the pleasure of all our guests. In order to do so, we must insist that children not run around or play ball in the gardens. But we have a good sized lawn and encourage you, and your children, to enjoy it.
